While the official business of the union begins promptly on Thursday morning, delegates, alternates and other guests of convention will begin gathering the evening of Wednesday, August 27. Credentials opens at 4:30 p.m. and early registration begins at 5 p.m. and closes at 9 p.m. on the Floor 5 of the Hilton.

Attendees can check in early and attend Wednesday evening's important workshops, including New Delegate Workshop and Financial Leadership Training for treasurers. At early registration, attendees will register, check their delegate status, get the event agenda and get their convention bag.

If registration indicates you are a LATE registrant, you will be required go to Credentials at the start of convention to get your delegate status approved prior to being seated. Credentials open beginning at 4:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. in the Veterans A meeting room. If Registration indicates that you are a late delegate please, check in at Credentials and wait for your instructions. Always check in at Registration BEFORE heading to Credentials unless told otherwise prior to convention. Credentials opens bright and early on Thursday at 7:30 a.m. in the same room.

Convention ID badges
As a convention delegate or alternate, you will use your photo ID badge to get on the floor of the convention hall (or into the alternate section), to enter Committee rooms, and to check in to the WAC/CMCA luncheon and workshops. You will receive your ID badge at registration. Please keep your ID Badge with at all times.

What's in the bag?
Registered delegates and alternates, who have paid the registration fee, will receive a convention bag and other important registration material at Registration. The following are items that are included in the bag:

• OCSEA Delegate Guide
• Convention Program (agenda and more)
• Convention ID badge and lanyard
• Proposed Constitutional amendments and resolutions  
• USB card with important documents/forms and more
• Committee Appointments  
• Wristbands for special events 
  (Blue for delegates/alternates for ALL special events; White for Aquarium guests; Red for Delegate Reception guests) 
  WAC/CMCA luncheon guest tickets (where applicable, if purchased in advance)
• Souvenir water bottle, pen and lapel pin
• Announcement flyers
