Resolutions
Resolutions are approved by the union delegation and call for OCSEA to take a stance on a wide range of specific issues that impact public employee union members. The Resolutions Committee meets throughout Convention and gives recommendations to the delegation regarding proposed resolutions for approval. This year there are nine proposed resolutions for your consideration.
On Friday morning, the delegation approved eight of the nine proposed resolutions taking a variety of stances on issues from support for the AFSCME GO organizing program to strengthening labor coalitions for public sector advocacy. Resolutions #2 and #6 were combined to strengthen the union's commitment to the Future of Work and technology and education that advances public work and the labor movement.
