Rally goers, public employees who experience the pain of understaffing every day, voiced their concerns about needing to build up public service in Ohio, recruit and promote the benefits of being a union public employee. "We need to get creative and spread the word about the incentives of being a union public employee in Ohio," said Marion Correctional Corrections Officer and OCSEA leader Brian Miller. Brother Miller was a featured public employee speaker who talked about what his union team is doing to promote public work in our prisons, including recruiting in their community at events like county fairs. "We need some relief, and, together, we can push for that," he said. And the crowd couldn't agree more!
