The OCSEA Constitution and By-laws governs the business of the union and is reviewed and amended every two years by elected subordinate body delegates attending the OCSEA Biennial Convention. Most changes were housekeeping and clarification with the expception of AM 3, which allow JIAC to explore and recommend that the Board of Directors consider implementing electronic and/or phone voting options for State Board member elections that will allow greater participation from members.
Below are all the proposed amendments. If the amendments were passed by the delegation on the floor, it is indicated below:
- Amendment 1-SC Article III (Section 9) - Chapter 2100
- Amendment 2-SC Article IV (Section 1) - Chapter 2100
- Amendment 3-SC Article IV (Section 6) - State Board - passed - JIAC may explore and recommend that the BOD consider implementing electronic and/or phone voting options for State Board member elections that will allow greater participation from members.
- Amendment 4-SC Article IV (Section 7) - State Board - passed - includes housekeeping changes from AM 4 & AM 5
- Amendment 5-SC Article IV (Section 7 and 8) - Chapter 2100 - housekeeping changes were put into AM 4
- Amendment AM 6-SC Article V (Section 4) - Chapter 2100
- Amendment AM 7-SC Article IX (Section 2) - Chapter 2100
- Amendment AM 8-SC Article IX (Section 3) - Chapter 2100
- Amendment AM 9-SC Article X (Section 1) - Chapter 2100
- Amendment AM 10-BL Article IV (Section 3) - State Board - passed - clarification change
- Amendment AM 11-BL Article IV (Section 6) - State Board - passed - housekeeping change
